Truck Chef

  In this week’s classes we didn’t really see any new topics an for that reason today we are going to talk about a food truck here in Merida, Truck Chef. Truck Chef started as a group of friends  founding a burger truck for a few bucks. This truck became famous because of their natural ingredients and their high quality products while still being pretty cheap. Their mission is to  p rovide a gourmet food service to the customer with all the standards of hygiene and supreme quality, wherever they need it . Deliver a fast service , at good prices , of excellent quality , flavor and freshness throughout technology and specialized equipment for this maintaining above all the same quality  any day of the week. What most attracts costumers in my opinion is their values, which are: quality, passion, collaboration, respect and sociability.   Blog #4 In the second class this week we talked about the types of leadrship, we even did an activity for the first time. But we’re not here to talk about how we don’t work in our business class, we’re here to talk about the types of leaderships. First, let’s start talking about what a leader is: a leader is someone who has the ability to manage and influence other people to achieve a single goal. There are quite a few qualities that a leader should have , but the main ones are: adaptation, comunication, trust. There are three main types of leaders: ·         Autocratic :  An autocratic leader is a leader who gives orders and doesn’t care about what everyone else thinks. This type of leader can be useful when no one in the team has the initiative to do any of the work.   Blog #3 In the first class of the week we talked about time management, well, we didn’t really talk, Cristopher just spoke and we kind of listened. But that’s not the point, the point is that time management is really important to live an organized life. But time is not the only important thing for managing your life, there are other aspects to that. For example, money is another important thing for managing your life, because if you have more resources you can do more things and buy more things to help you with your work or with other aspects of your life. Paying your debts can also be helped with money, and you should always pay your debts so people are not bugging you to pay them. We also saw what a competence was, a competence is the combination   of   knowledge, abilities,   behaviors   and attitudes   that   contribute   to   the   business. In my business class of august 27 th I learned quite a few things, and in this post I am going to do a summary of what I learned. The first topic that my teacher Christopher talked about was the “development of managerial competences”.  This topic talked about how important it is to create and stimulate our leadership skills if we want to enter the business industry, this is because in this industry you will have to interact and talk to people you do not know, sometimes you will even have to purse them so that they listen to you. You will have a group of “followers” that will look up to you and you will have to guide so they can achieve their goals. The next topic talks about “administration”. My teacher took the definition from google and copy pasted it into the presentation but I am not going to do that, I am going to explain it more toughly.   Hello, my name is Jose Luis Canto Abraham and I am from Mérida, Yucatán. My parents names are Jose Luis Canto and Matha Abraham, I have one sister, Andrea, and one brother, Mateo. I have lived in Mérida most of my life but I also lived for three years in the Arab Emirates and one year in Cambridge, United States.
