Truck Chef
In this week’s classes we didn’t really see any new topics an for that reason today we are going to talk about a food truck here in Merida, Truck Chef. Truck Chef started as a group of friends founding a burger truck for a few bucks. This truck became famous because of their natural ingredients and their high quality products while still being pretty cheap. Their mission is to provide a gourmet food service to the customer with all the standards of hygiene and supreme quality, wherever they need it . Deliver a fast service , at good prices , of excellent quality , flavor and freshness throughout technology and specialized equipment for this maintaining above all the same quality any day of the week. What most attracts costumers in my opinion is their values, which are: quality, passion, collaboration, respect and sociability. Truck Chef in known for attendig massive events in collaboration with Cumbres like “Copa Faro”, “Verbena”, Truck Day” between others. Recentley, Truck Chef opened up a diner right next to their truck so they could be open during lunch and so that they could attend more costumers at the same time. They have a pretty good amount of competitors but the ones thet really stand out are: Mistica Burger, Angry Angus and Carls Jr. McDonalds and Burger King could also be included in that list but they are a little lower quality so I decided not to include them. Now, managing a food truck is no easy task, you have to keep the truck clean, pay for gas (although you don’t have to paya ny rent so that compensates it pretty much) and you have to make a a good name for yourself because people normally see a food truck and they think it is trash food or that it is not real meat and that they will get all kinds of diseases if they eat there, so if you make a good name for yourself people won’t think that.
